The Guidebook has been translated from the original Indonesian version “Buku Pedoman Pelayanan Peringatan Dini Tsunami InaTEWS”, second edition, August 2012.
The guidebook covers all aspects regarding tsunami early warning in Indonesia. The second edition provides updates on the warning scheme in accordance with the technical development and clarification on the roles and responsibilities of the institutions involved. The guidebook is expected to be a reference for institutions at the national and local levels supporting them as public service providers to receive and disseminate tsunami early warnings.
