My father was a fisherman and was young at the time of earthquake 1945. He shared that at 3. A.m. in the early morning three waves struck the coast after the earthquake. His father also shared that Keti Bandar, Thatta, Badin, Daam and Karachi were alos hit by the same waves at the same time. Most of the causalities happened at Ormara, Thatta and Badin. Millan Mountain was also destroyed by the earthquake and waves brought all boats in land near foothills.
