Brief Information of the eyewitness and the interview situation

Team asked him what he remembered about 1945 Tsunami, he said “I was 8 year old, and when got up early in the morning, was told that at night, there was an earthquake, and southern part of Gwadar which is low land area was flooded, with sea waves and many houses were under water and damaged. My house was at higher level. There were our relatives in southern part of Gwadar and we went there to see them. Most of the people left there house and were rescued women & children and took them to the high hills areas. We saw a huge mountain in the see and I did not know whether it was fell from the sky, or emerged from below the sea. It was reddish in color. It was almost 10 km in the see and was visible from the coast. The people used to go there for picnic and its size was reducing with passage of time and vanished after one year”. When Ashraf Hussain was asked, did you feel the earthquake shocks, he said“No, I was sleeping, but our elder did felt strong shocks”.
