I was around 10 years old in 1945 and there was a severe earthquake happened around fajr prayer time (before dawn). People heard a roaring sound before and even afterthe earthquake and there emerged a mount in the sea later named as Zalzal-e-Koh. After the earthquake around 5 a.m. the sea waves attacked the shore one after the other. Fortunately Surbander community was saved due to high land and mounts in the direction of the storm waves
