Brief Information of the eyewitness and the interview situation

I was 14-15 years old and was on fishing in the deep sea at that night. We did not use to have wrist watches so did not know the exact time of the event. We heard a roaring sound and observed there was unrest among the fish and the under sea creatures when earthquake struck. Our boat started trembling in the sea and was floating out of our control.

Interview result (text of the interview: Purely descriptive)

We returned around 11 a.m. after fishing as we did not know about the earthquake and tsunami hit the area. When we reached the town we found destroyed houses, boats & rubbles fetched inland near up to “Paraag Mohalla”, the area flooded with sea water and the whole community evacuated on sand dunes. Waves took away many houses and boats till “Juddi Mountain” (the other side of the Pasni City, opposite to sand dunes). My house was in Wadsar Mohalla, also destroyed. Kahn of Qallat distributed food grains and 200 Rupees per family among the affected population. Mohammad Ishaq was Teshsildar from British Government. It was neither cold nor hot summers, probably November or October when this disaster happened.
