Interview result (text of the interview: Purely descriptive)

When I returned home I was told about the three waves developed here but fortunately caused no damage at Jewni which is my home town however Pasni, Ormara and Gwadar were worst hit. After the earthquake the sea water receded in a strange way and came forward again three times. I was in sea water so could not feel earthquake but observed disturbance in sea water. Boats collided and destroyed. It happened during morning time but don’t remember exact time and duration. When we heard about the earthquake and waves, we thought Ganz and Surbander towns must be destroyed but were surprised to know both areas were saved however Pasni and Ormara were completely destroyed. Ganz and Surbander are quite vulnerable of such events because of their location and depth of the sea immediately near the shoreline. Jewni was not affected because its high ground and mounts in the direction of the waves developed in 1945 event.
