Brief Information of the eyewitness and the interview situation

I remember it was night time and I was 7 or 8 years old . There were high waves without winds but heavy sound (noise) late night around 02:00 a.m.

Many people died. Water encroached into the creek (up to the place where now the bridge “Dolhay Darya Khan” is built eight years ago. Much of the destruction was caused by high waves and speedily coming water. Human beings, cattle, belongings, houses everything was destroyed in this area and we shited to Monora (near Karachi). The event never repeated in my life never I heard about such phenomenon from my elders.
