I experience three storms in my life but the biggest one came with earthquake and brought lot of water inland with sudden sea level rise. Around 9 a.m. in the morning the water level started rising. We were swimming when we noticed changed color of sea water and ran away then huge waves 6-12 feet high attacked. The earthquake happened after the storm/ waves. Our boats on the shore went inland and we suffered huge damage of boats, human lives, houses. We tried to take refuge on the boats but those were turned over by the waves. Khadda market in Karachi city was flooded and many people died, few could survive. I don’t remember the name of the persons who died in this tsunami but there were so many people died. British Council must have record of those persons.
