Brief Information of the eyewitness and the interview situation

I was around 10-12 years of age and used to raise cattle in 1945. We were sleeping in our houses when waves arrived.

In the morning we came to know about huge destruction caused by the tsunami all along the coastal belt. Hundreds of people died. Even we could not provide coffin for all dead boies and buried many in one grave. I went to help people in Sukhibander area. I did not feel earthquake but sea water rose up in the river delta. There were no winds and rains only sea waves caused destruction.
