Mr. Hassan said since his childhood he has experience at least 14-15 earthquake shocks in Gwadar.

He heard from his father Tawakkal and mother Hussaini that while returning home from fishing, they heard a noise, thought it could be bombardment during Second World War, and saw parked boats near sea shore are going towards sea and returned after 20 or 30 minutes. All boats were then brought to foothills by the waves and inland area inundated by sea water. People were astonished to notice unusual behaviour of the sea as it went much behind the shoreline. People came to see this un-precedential recedence of sea water. A mud volcano also emerged in the sea forming a small island which was surveyed for Gas and Petroleum later on but it sank down after sometime
