I did not see coming waves as I was inside house but when I came out saw water everywhere. I remember my one buffalo and a goat washed away by the storm (tsunami). Three kids died of our husband’s relative drowned in the village as they were sleeping and water passed over them. I felt earthquake but don’t remember how sever it was. I don’t remember from which side water came but I saw boats brought inland by waves and floating. Sea was at 10 kilometers away from present day shoreline. Just because of the sea erosion until now 26 villages have been drowned in a couple of decades.
