Brief Information of the eyewitness and the interview situation

At the time of tsunami I was only 4-5 years old and my father was a fisher man. My aunt’s family was living in the same area. My father went on fishing as usual.

When my father returned home in afternoon after fishing along with other fishermen, they did not know about earthquake and sea surges; it was shocking scene of devastation for them. After the event, we left that place called ‘Doria’ and shifted our house to another safer area. On November 28, 1945 at 5 a.m. (noted from Dr. Qamar Din’s records used to write personal diary and details of the day. He died three years ago), this earthquake and tsunami happened killing one girl in Gwadar.
