Brief Information of the eyewitness and the interview situation

I was working as farmer when Hindu landlord migrated to India after Pakistan came into being in 1947. My whole family was in fish business but I went for farming.

I remember that incidents with sea high waves without winds and sea encroached inland much ahead than usual. I remember the creeks which are very long and narrow from sea to inland, it was not like this before the1945 tsunami i.e. sea intruded inland and eroded shorelines. The area was much more populated and fertile even up till Kharochan City (N 24 03’ 25.6” E 067 35’ 05.7”). Cattle washed away with the receding waves but no person died. I remember, it was night time and the people who went out for fishing ran back shouting that sea is approaching inland.
