I was around 15-16 years old when one night, earthquake shocked the area and destroyed houses.

was sleeping but the earthquake shocks woke me up. I heard people were shouting and warning about sea surges heading to coastline. The time to respond warning was too short to get prepared for evacuation and my family along with many others was caught by waves. There were 200-300 families living in Ormara that time including Baloch, Aga Khanis and few Hindu families. We thought we could not recover from this calamity.
