Official tsunami bulletins are advisory statements issued by relevant agencies, in particular, the Regional Tsunami Service Providers whenever the source of tsunami is triggered.
Only the national/state/local authorities and disaster management officers have the authority to make decisions based on the tsunami bulletins. They will disseminate information and warning status when the threat of tsunami arises.
However, when there is no threat of tsunami arises, these bulletins are useful to prevent unnecessary evacuation when the source of a tsunami triggered (usually earthquake).
